The Sichuan trip was a fulfilling one. I clearly remember the night before the flight, we were all so excited that we couldn’t sleep. It was a wonderful overseas trip with the good friends. (:

I miss that place actually. Their lifestyle is so different. It made me slow down my pace and actually not thinking about work. I was all chirpy and happy for that 2 weeks. Standing and looking at the scenery at the mountain made me feel carefree. When you can wake up to a beautiful sunrise and scenery with no stress about the everyday urban life, who gives a shit about facebook? xD

New friends made at China. The china students who actually like to ‘take’ lil stuffs from us are really NICE people. Without them, this trip wouldn’t be happening. I also got to know my course mates more. I loikeeeeeeeeeee!

The only thing that I don’t miss there is probably the food. It’s ALWAYS that same sichuan flavour profile. Having it once in a while is fine, but imagine 2 weeks! KFC with no chili sauce but chili powder instead. Not cool. OH, and their kitchen wasn’t a conducive environment to learn. It smells like dead rat cos of the drain in the kitchen and they don’t really wash their bowls and plates. It was filled with mould! HACCP FAIL.

In any case, I still enjoyed myself a hell lot! We should go on a holiday trip AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN!
